Mr. Scharton focuses his practice in general corporate and business law, commercial real estate transactions, and representing financial institutions.  Mr. Scharton represents financial institutions in matters including asset and real estate backed loans, loan workouts and restructuring.  Mr. Scharton handles commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including associated due diligence reviews of title, survey and environmental matters, development of real estate projects, financing of real estate acquisitions, leasing (commercial and office), 1031 exchanges, and easements.  His corporate practice includes formation of entities, asset protection, drafting of operating agreements and shareholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and general business transactions.

Mr. Scharton is a member of the American Bar Association, Utah Bar Association, and Illinois Bar Association.  Mr. Scharton has been listed as a rising star in Mountain States Super Lawyers Magazine in the field of Business/Corporate, Real Estate, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
