Attorneys

Ms. Cook handles a wide variety of transactional and real estate matters with an emphasis on commercial real estate loan documentation and negotiation. Her work in this area includes land development, construction and permanent financing. She also works on loan restructuring and modifications.

Ms. Cook also handles commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions, as well as associated due diligence reviews of title and survey matters. She has prepared and negotiated leases (representing either landlord or tenant interests) for all kinds of projects including retail, resort and office projects.

Ms. Cook is currently Chair of the Firm’s Labor & Employment Section. Her practice includes work in the area of employee benefits, in particular the federal Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (“COBRA”), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) and Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”). She has lectured to employment professionals on employee benefits issues.
